The longest day
Embark on a memorable full-day journey from Paris to the historic D-Day landing beaches of Normandy, accompanied by an expert guide who will bring the events of World War II vividly to life.
On 6 June 1944, the Allied forces launched the largest amphibious military operation in history, opening a new front in Western Europe. More than 150,000 troops from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and other nations landed on the beaches of Normandy — Omaha, Utah and Juno — and at the strategic cliffs of Pointe du Hoc.
Your day begins with a 7:00 a.m. departure from central Paris. Travel in comfort aboard an air-conditioned coach through the Norman countryside, then walk the sites where the landings unfolded, guided by someone who knows their history in detail.
After a day of history, reflection and discovery, you return to Paris with an expected arrival at around 8:00 p.m.
